France into Spain

Our stop for the night was near the National Park at the small village of Cabarceno. We went for a walk from the campsite and were surprised by the animals we saw in the valley. What were elephants doing here in Spain wandering around freely!? We could only see a small part of the park but investigating further we found a gated entrance but it was half hour before closing time so chose not to drive through the park. We have heard it is definitely worth a visit with its gorillas, bears, cheetahs and more - maybe another time.
